About ZenDuel
A small, quiet app for building the habits that actually matter.
The idea
Most habit trackers are overwhelming. Endless charts, notifications, streak anxiety, social leaderboards that turn mindfulness into another thing to perform. ZenDuel is the opposite. One small daily ritual: draw an Enso — a hand-drawn circle, the Zen symbol for presence and completeness — and mark the wins that mattered today.
That’s it. No dashboards to tend. No judgement when you miss a day. Just a clean, repeatable moment that helps your practice stick.
Why Enso?
In Zen calligraphy, the Enso is drawn in one breath. Sometimes the circle closes neatly. Sometimes it doesn’t. The point isn’t perfection — it’s the honest, unrepeatable mark of you, today. That’s the spirit behind the whole app. A streak isn’t a score. It’s proof you kept showing up, imperfect circles and all.
The Duel
You don’t have to practice alone. In ZenDuel, a “duel” is friendly accountability — a partner or friend whose circle you can see alongside yours. No scoreboards, no shame. Just a quiet signal: we’re both still here, and that’s enough.
Who made this
ZenDuel is made by GTStudios — a small independent studio building calm, useful software. No venture capital, no growth hacks, no dark patterns. If you like the app, tell a friend. If you don’t, tell us why and we’ll make it better.
